MacBook Air M2 2022 - poor sound quality

Noticing a buzzing or vibrating sound at certain tones in the music / streaming shows on my new Laptop. Genius Bar also noticed distorted sound and replaced the machine with a brand new one. The same poor sound quality persists on this machine too.

I suspect it may be something to do with the keys vibrating; when I try to cover most of them with my hands the sound seems better. It should not be the case though on a brand new laptop.

Does anyone else have experience of this? Any fix suggested / offered by Apple?
