Apple TV stutter / judder issue

When is Apple going to address the stutter / judder issue?? It’s pretty clear from the insider boards it’s a known issue since the 16 release.

For the rest of the community, I’ve been running 800-1200 MBS and have tried a few different HDMI combos, including 120 or 60 MHZ. Have adjusted the settings for frame rate and so on a ton of times - nada. Doesn’t matter the make of the TV either - all are having the issues.

Want an easy way to resolve for an important game?? Just use the apps on the TV itself - immediately went away with better picture quality overall.

it’s sad as we committed to Apple TV’s across our household (6) and worked perfectly for a few years - including the 4K units.

it just seems Apple engineers are either incapable to figure it out - or competitors have figure out how to create the issues (we run YouTube TV - Google) and Apple hasn’t figured out how to address.

Either way - hoping Apple actually can address or the Apple TV’s are all gone.

yes, of course I have done all of that. I’ve even unplugged the TV’s for 10+ minutes. All units in question have all been updated with the latest software. As mentioned in my post, I’ve also switched out the HDMI cables, changed the settings on Apple TV and so on. It’s not a hardware issue with the TV’s (the apps on the TV work perfectly) and is clear it’s a software issue with the Apple TV that have yet to be addressed.

Its a widely known issue that’s been going on since the 16 release and would appreciate you checking with your engineering team to see when they plan to actually address it.

Thanks in advance.
