adjust bass on homepod
Can I adjust the bass on my homepod, with two homepod mini speakers or do I have to return them to the apple store?
iPhone XR, iOS 16

Thanks for your reply.
Actually I've discovered you have a lot of control through Settings --> EQ on IOS. Gives you a bunch of presets. On the desktop version of Music under Preferences => Playback you can check Sound Enhancer which punches the tune up even more.
There's also an app called Airfoil which gives you a manual method of setting volume of each frequency. This works really well on desktop but costs about $30. You can use the companion app Airfoil Satellite to allow an iPhone to adjust tones. I haven't played with it too long.
I'm from the era when you could control bass-treble with a knob on your radio. I wish they'd just give us that alternative until they come up with something better that doesn't take all morning to figure out.

The only adjustment possible is to ‘reduce bass’. Open the Home app, tap your HomePod, select the little gear shaped icon to see the options available.
What sort of adjustment are you wanting make?
Well, you asked about the HomePod Mini specifically, not general EQ settings that affect all devices.
