Lost phone is not showing up on FindMy App

Lost my phone yesterday and tried searching for it on FindMy app but the the service is claiming that the phone is offline and showing me the location for the previous day 10/2/23, which is odd because the iphone still has charge and calls are still dialling through at the time of the post, meaning it should have enough signal to provide its location (I was able to verify that its on by having my friend call the phone in the slim shot someone had picked it up).

Any ideas on how to get the service to show my phone's location and why this is happening?
