Navigation volume is too low

I just upgraded from an 11 to 14pro with the new iOS and now I can barely hear navigation from Maps. From what I’m reading it’s some kind of glitch. Is that the case or did someone find a d fix?

CarPlay Google Maps Navigation volume too loud when on a phone call I've been using Google Maps for navigation with Apple CarPlay in my Mazda CX-5, and if I'm on a phone call the navigation volume goes to maximum. If I try to turn down the volume of the Navigation, it also turns my phone call volume down (to zero). The volume returns to normal after I end the phone call. I can't find a way to adjust this in control panels -- is there a way to correct this?

CarPlay Navigation volume is too loud This question was previously asked and the answer given that was found helpful is to go into Settings->Maps->Navigation & Guidance but this setting doesn’t exist in iOS 16. Where do I go to adjust that volume - it really is ridiculously loud. The funny thing is that I can ask Siri to use a lower volume voice and she responds that she’ll talk more softly. Only to be scream the next direction out the car speakers :-( I checked the CarPlay->Settings and don’t see a volume control there. There’s a volume icon on the CarPlay map, but that doesn’t let you adjust volume either. The car’s physical buttons only affect CarPlay music?! In case it matters (although previous questions about the same was for other car brands), my car is a 2019 Nissan Leaf.
