Safari Favorite page

It's not clear to me whether that was an intentional change or not, but there are many complaints about it with the recent Big Sur update.

If it is an intentional change and you don't like it, then you need to tell Apple: Feedback - Safari - Apple. Personally I doubt it is an intentional change though.

If it was not an intentional change, then we will just need to wait for Apple to fix it in another update.

I have a MacBook Pro and just updated my operating system to the Big Sur 11.7.3 and now all my icons on the start page are either grey with giant letter in it or blank white.

Also, when I access these now the favicon in the tab is just a coloured square.

I obviously can update to Monterey 12.6.3 but goodness knows what other unwanted behaviour will befall me then.

Please help.
