iTunes for Windows Just Skips Everything

I have an Apple Music account that is essentially unusable on Windows. Here I'm required to use iTunes and it simply doesn't work.


When I press play on ANYTHING, the program simply skips the song. It shows briefly in the title bar and then nothing. If I play a playlist, its skips everything.


Here is a brief video showing this behavior. I'm at the end of my rope and am very ready to give up on Apple Music.

FYI: For those of you who find this later--there is no solution.


I just worked with Apple support who admit that they have no solution to this and then just shuffled me aside. Let that be your guide between choosing Apple Music and, well, any other streaming source.
