Why doesn't my apple pay work at a certain store?

My apple pay works everywhere else except Jewel Osco. I have tried using it at Jewel numerous times and every time it doesn't process and just asks for customer service. The weird thing is that my father uses the same card on apple pay and when he uses it at Jewel it works for him. Is there a reason for this?

Why can’t i pay with apple pay? i moved most of my money to apple pay today and come to find out i can’t even use apple pay in any stores or stores that support it. even when putting my apple pay near the tap thing in a store it would load then go back to saying tap/insert.

Why doesn’t Apple Pay work at grocery stores? I’ve used Apple Pay many times at different merchants, but have never been able to use it at any grocery store (Aldi, Food Lion, Harris teeter for example) even though those merchants take Apple Pay, and my physical card always works.
