Payment Method

Hi! I'm having trouble changing my payment method after leaving 'family sharing'. I can't seem to change my payment method, and it just keeps on saying 'On File'. I ask the family organizer to check the family list and I was already not on the list. I have no idea how it turned out like this, and how to solve it. Please if you have any ideas, kindly leave a comment. I can't continue my subcriptions because of the payment issues. ToT

Try restarting the iPhone to see if it will refresh your settings and allow you to add a payment method: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support


How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, or later
1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
The volume button is located on the left side of the device, and the side button is located on the right
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

Add a payment method online
If you want to keep more than one payment method on file, add the payment method in Settings on iPhone or iPadin the App Store on Mac, or in iTunes on your PC. When you edit payment information online at appleid.apple.com, additional payment methods might be removed from your account automatically.
1. Go to appleid.apple.com.
2. Tap or click Sign In, then sign in with your Apple ID.
3. Tap or click Payment Methods.
4. Tap or click Manage payment method.
5. Enter your payment information, then tap or click Update.
Apple will attempt to charge payment methods in order from top to bottom. You can't change the order in which Apple Account balance is charged.
