Instagram not download in iOS 12.5.7

iPhone 6, iOS 12

iOS 12.5.7 is the latest iOS security update for iPhone 6.

Go to Settings -> General -> Software Update -> Download and Install (if you haven't already done that).

iPhone 6 can’t be update to a higher iOS (13 and later). 

If you have an outdated iPhone that cannot be updated to iOS 13 or later, many apps will not be able to download.

Outdated iPhone no longer meets the requirements for many apps.

Instagram requires iOS 13.4 or later.

Most apps require iOS 13.4 or later.                                

Considering a newer type of iPhone?

Read this before you buy a newer type iPhone.

Here again:

Instagram requires iOS 13.4 or later.

Instagram is not supported on iOS 12.5.7, and below. The minimum iOS version required to run Instagram is iOS 13.0.

No, you really don’t want me updating Instagram. I don’t work for them. The folks replying here are other users and some here are third-party developers, but ~nobody posting here works for Apple. Or works for Instagram. It’s really quite rare for a vendor support rep to be active around here, too.
