My iPhone 14 powered off yesterday

My iPhone 14 powered off yesterday. I plugged it in so it would charge. It gets to the point where the apple appears & then the screen goes black. It looks like it doesn't get enough power to turn on & the battery never gets a chance to charge any further. Please help.
