Sound like you are speaking of the passcode. By any chance do you have a computer? Mac or PC? If so you will have to connect the iPad to a computer and restore it. Now that does mean everything on the iPad will be erased but that's the only way to remove the disabled screen. Here are the steps: If you forgot your iPad passcode - Apple Support
