Try a Forced Restart on the iPhone. Follow the instructions very carefully.
Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
Quick press and release on the UP button
Quick press and release on the DOWN button
Hold the SIDE button in until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Ignore the "slide to shut off" screen and keep holding until the Apple logo appears. Then release.

I’ve got a brand new iPhone 14 Pro Max and iOS 16.3.1 has broken wireless charging on my phone too.
After I updated my iPhone 11 Pro to iOS 16.3.1 my wireless charging capabilities disappeared too. I’ve done everything but roll back the update, if that is even a thing. Still no luck so far. Another way Apple is “forcing” customers to get new phones “faking” hardware issues when nothing is wrong other than Apple “removing it on purpose for profit”.
So frustrating, as im having this issue too as of a few days ago. No wireless charger in the house will work now......Tried most of the suggestions ive seen and still not working. Maybe I'll try the charge to 100% on wired charger and then restart as thats the only one I didn't try yet.....this sucks...
Thank you for the advice. I tried this but no joy. :(
I’m operational again. Thank you for your guidance.
Hi, were you able to fix the issue? What phone do you have? Currently unable to wirelessly charge as well, iPhone 12 Pro 16.3.1
Try connecting wired charging. While the phone is charging, do a Forced Reboot:
1. Press and quickly release Volume Up
2. Press and quickly release Volume Down
3. Press and hold the Side Button until the phone turns off. Release when you see the Apple Logo.
4. Once your phone is on, unplug the cable.
5. Unplugging the power cable from your Wireless Charger, wait a bit and plug it back in.
6. Place your iPhone in your wireless charger
Did it help?
Hmm. Okay. Try charging your iPhone to 100% with cable, restart and try again. If you can, try another wireless charger as well.
