MacBook Air will not recognize 2 monitors separately

I have a 2020 MacBook Air 13" retina. I bought a 24" lg monitor and connected it with no issues, along with a wireless keyboard/mouse combo. This is all hooked via an adapter. decided to buy a second monitor (same model and size) and a second adapter. My Mac will not recognize the two monitors are separate. It will run either monitor, hooked to either adapter (have 3 different adapters now). but it will not run both at the same time. I've tried everything I can find to get it to work both at once, but it will not, only 1 at a time. Please help! I'm loosing my mind.

Hello,

MacBook Air only supports one external display at a time.

Thanks for reaching out!
