synced photos

i synced some photos from my phone onto my HP Chromebook 14" x360 Laptop - 14ct-cc000

(pretty sure that's the model of my laptop) and my icloud storage is pretty full. i was trying to delete a stupid screen recording, but there was no delete button. when i do the multi delete, the trash shows up grey if i select it first. i looked it up and it's because i synced it to the laptop, how do i unsync? i've looked everywhere, and the only actual solution would be to delete all my photos, and i obviously don't want to do that. my phone is an iphone 11 :) please respond quick, this has been a problem i've been trying to fix for awhile now.

Greetings https_liz,

You can learn how to sync content between your PC and iPhone by visiting the following link: Sync photos in iTunes on PC with devices

Please note, per that resource, "If you don’t see Sync Photos, you’re using iCloud Photos to share your photos and you don’t need to sync your photos using iTunes."

If you are syncing Photos using iCloud, check out this resource:

"What happens when I delete photos from a device using iCloud Photos?

When you delete a photo or video from the Photos app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac, it also deletes from your iCloud Photos and any other devices where you're signed in to iCloud Photos. It also no longer counts towards your iCloud storage. If you want to remove photos and videos from your iPhone, your iPad, your iPod touch, your Mac, and iCloud.com, you can delete them in the Photos app

You can recover your photos and videos from the Recently Deleted album for 30 days" Get help with iCloud Photos

We hope this helps you to successfully delete the screen recording.

Best wishes.
