Restore Screen Time on MacBook Pro?

I have two questions about Screen Time on Mac.

I turned off Screen Time without realising that it resets my history. I was wondering if there's a way to restore this.

Secondly, how far back does Screen Time go?

I know this is very silly but I don't feel too good about resetting it, like I just did something very stupid. Any answer to the these questions would be much appreciated.

Hi blackbook668,

We appreciate you reaching out to us.

We’d like to gather additional details that may help us be in a better position to assist you.

Do you have a different Apple device that is signed in to the same Apple ID, and still have the Screen Time enabled? For example, an iPhone or iPad?

If yes, does it help if you simply enable Screen Time back on your MacBook Pro?

  1. "On your Mac, do one of the following:
    1. If you’re using Family Sharing: Log in to your Mac user account, then make sure you’re sign in with your Apple ID.
    2. If you aren’t using Family Sharing: Log in to a family member’s Mac user account.
  2. Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Screen Time  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
  3. If you’re a member of a Family Sharing group, click the Family Member pop-up menu on the right, then choose a family member.
  4. To view app usage reports, click App Usage.
    1. Display statistics by device: Click the Device pop-up menu to choose a specific device, or choose All Devices to see the combined statistics.
    2. Change the time period: Use the pop-up menu and arrow buttons above the chart to choose a single date or a week for the display.
    3. Display statistics for apps: Click the pop-up menu below the chart, choose Show Apps, then select an app or select All Apps.
    4. Display statistics for app categories: Click the pop-up menu below the chart, choose Show Categories, then select an app category or select All Categories.
    5. View information about limits and apps: If the Limit icon  appears in the limits column, this item has a limit assigned to it. To quickly add a limit to an item without one assigned, place the pointer over the row under the limits column, then click the Add Limit button . Click the Info button  to view information about the app and the limit assigned to it (if any). The Info button is available only for apps.
  5. To view the number of notifications received from apps, click the Back button , then click Notifications.
    1. Display statistics by device: Click the Device pop-up menu to choose a specific device, or choose All Devices to see the combined statistics.
    2. Change the time period: Use the pop-up menu and arrow buttons above the chart to choose a single date or a week for the display.
    3. Display statistics for apps: Select an app or select All Apps.
  6. To view the number of times you or a family member wakes a device, click the Back button, then click Pickups.
    1. Display statistics by device: Click the Device pop-up menu to choose a specific device, or choose All Devices to see the combined statistics.
    2. Change the time period: Use the pop-up menu and arrow buttons above the chart to choose a single date or a week for the display.
    3. Display statistics for apps: Select an app or select All Apps."
