How can I make my iPhone ring longer than 2 rings before going to voicemail.

#*61* doesn’t work, neither does asking my network provider.

According to Tesco Mobile's own webpage, you can choose between 10, 20 or 30 seconds before the phone forwards the call to Voice Mail. However, this is only a service that "Pay As You Go customers" can use.

If you are PAYG costumer, here's a guide on how to change it:

1. Enter **61*905*11*

2. Enter either 10, 20 or 30 (the seconds your device rings for)

3. Press #

4. Press call

Customers with a monthly subscription cannot change it.

There will be a default time of 10 seconds before the call is forwarded to Voice Mail.

Which carrier do you have?

All Network Providers have the option to change the time the phone rings before the call is forwarded to Voice Mail. You can usually choose between 5 - 30 seconds.

Contact them again, otherwise look at your Account page, on your Carrier's Website - it is often possible to change it there. I can, for example, do it on my Carrier website.
