Verification Failed Action cannot be completed.

This started after a Windows 11 Pro Microsoft Update this morning. I've logged out and back in and rebooted. I've also tested a wrong password and get a different error. All else sees the 'net just fine. iCloud installed via Microsoft Store. Microsoft Store offers no updates to it. All I can do is Cancel and then a few minutes later the Enter your password to continue using iCloud dialog pops up again just like a Jack Russel Terrier. Enter password. Verification Failed. Rinse and repeat.

Anybody else seeing this today? Any thoughts for next steps?

Uninstalling two iCloud apps, rebooting, reinstalling from the Microsoft Store, and going through the setup actions again seems to have made iCloud happy again. Go figure. Just another day in the Microsoft + Apple world.
