How do I restore my iPad, not backup ?

My new iPad no longer allows me to sign into my apps from previous iPad. Previous iPad was backed up.

Restore iPad from iPhone Backup I’ve just got a new iPhone (transferred from android) and went to great lengths to manually set up all my apps, updated dozens of logins, customised screens and folders, the whole deal. Hours and hours of work. I’ve backed up settings and data to iCloud. I’ve just got a new iPad and want to restore as much as possible from my IPHONE backup to the new iPad (really don’t wanna deal with manually downloading and logging in to all those apps). I have an old iPad that has been used for nothing other that playing YouTube videos for that last year and has pretty much nothing on it. It is also backed up to iCloud. Quickstart worked fine with the iPad pulling wifi login etc from my phone. The problem is that when I go to restore after that, the only device I see to restore from is my old iPad, when all the new app lists, data and settings are on my phone? How can I select to restore from my IPhone? The option doesn’t seem to be there.

When you transfer your data to a new device, you need to re-sign in to your accounts (because it’s a new device, for security). This means you need your account logins to do that.
