All my desktop icons changed to itunes logos and they all open itunes windo

All icons on the desktop have changed after I install most current itune, and if I click the the shorcuts on the desktop, it only opens itune. But if I uninstall itune and quicktime, the icons have changed back and all are normal.
I have operation system vista.

Has anyone know how to fix it.
