Number expiring message

Hello! My daughter is studying abroad in Spain and received a message about her US phone number expiring. She has an esim for Spain.

She can still use iMessage with other iPhone, iPad and Mac users as long as she starts conversations using her AppleID email address.

To change this in settings:

Open Settings

Tap Messages

Tap “Send & Receive”

Switch “Start New Conversations From…” to her email address instead of her phone number.

**Make sure she does this on all her apple devices. But especially her iPhone.


As for dealing with her number expiring, contact her carrier immediately to figure out how to preserve it.
