Help with iPad malware and how to get rid of it.

It is my grandmother's iPad. She says she does not remember doing anything that would result in malware being downloaded. I have deleted any unfamiliar files and apps, and cleared all browser pages. But, the issue persists.

What happens is that the screen will randomly go black, then after a few seconds a human eye pops and watches you for a minute. You can't exit out of it or turn the screen back off, but the eye closes on its own after a bit.

Does anyone know what this is, specifically, and how to get rid of it?

Thank you in advance.

There is no malware that can affect an iPad.

Whatever is happening must be an installed app you can see on a Home Screen or in the App Library.

What happens happens if you swipe up from the bottom, and stop in the middle of the screen. Does it show the open Apps? If so, it should show a name at the top of the app window for the App in question.

Once you know the name of the App, you can find it and delete it.

If all else fails, you can always just erase the iPad entirely and set it up again.
