iPad is being controlled by someone in Mexico. I changed my Apple ID, now the iPad does not accept it.

My iPad reports that it is physically located in Mexico, but I have it here in Colorado. I have changed my Apple ID and now the iPad does not recognize it.

If your iPad is reporting that it is located in Mexico and you have changed your Apple ID, it's possible that the location information on your iPad has not been updated.

To update the location information on your iPad, you can try the following steps:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on "General."
  3. Tap on "Language & Region."
  4. Tap on "Region" and select "United States" as your region.

After changing the region, your iPad should now display the correct location information. If your iPad still does not recognize your Apple ID, you can try signing out of your Apple ID and then signing back in again.

To sign out of your Apple ID on your iPad, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap on "Sign Out."

After signing out, you can sign back in using your updated Apple ID.

If you continue to experience issues, you may want to contact Apple support for further assistance.
