Ethernet EEE energy efficient - how to see if it's on? Dante network

Hi everybody, first question here on the community.

I've looked for similar questions but they don't fully answer my doubts.

Long story short, I'm using Audinate's Dante to stream music to a mixer through ethernet, every device in this network must have energy efficient ethernet (EEE) off.

I found people on the web (and in this website too) that have discovered in their Mac's ethernet hardware configuration a new kind of duplex setting that states "full-duplex,flow control,energy-efficient-ethernet" so I went to check mine (I use a USB-ethernet dongle with my macbook pro 14 m1 pro) and I can't see that option.

Does that mean my dongle/my mac has no EEE at all or I just can't deactivate it?

Is it something related to the hardware you use or is it something you have to set in your mac regardless?

Thanks in advance, I apologise If I made a dumb question.

If the Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE, IEEE 802.3az, etc) setting is not showing in System Preferences > Network > {select the NIC} > Advanced > Hardware... You don't have it. Duplex setting of Full Duplex, Flow Control would be typical here for your needs, when operating with EEE disabled, or without EEE. If you don't see EEE shown, or don't have it selected, you don't have EEE.
