app specific password
I can't create app specific password. I get incorrect password message.
I've already logged in to appleid with password using touch Id so I know the password is correct. I have also tried typing it in.

Hey wendiew,
It's unclear if the incorrect password message is happening when trying to sign in to the Apple ID website, or when using the app-specific password that was created. You mention using Touch ID to sign in too. If you haven't already, please manually type your password to see if that allows you to sign in. If it doesn't match the saved information, you will be prompted to update it.
If you're still met with an incorrect password message, we recommend changing your password using these steps: If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support
If instead the alert appears when using the app-specific password you created, we'd ask the same steps be taken. Please manually type the password instead of using Touch ID to ensure the saved password is correct or that you have the option to update it. Just in case, here's more information on creating app-specific passwords: Sign in to apps with your Apple ID using app-specific passwords - Apple Support
