Hello, I have a question about something that has happened to me recently, I received a notification that a new device had access to Iface and imessage, but this seemed strange to me, since I only have two apple devices and I have two-way verification activated steps, and in the list of connected devices I don't see any other than mine, why would I get that notification? Hello, I recently updated the ios of the iphone 11, which was where I received this message, it was as prior notification so I could have received it after updating but I don't know if it was because of this, you will tell me
You will also get this message if you change settings for iMessage or FaceTime, for example the phone number or mail address. Logging out of your Apple ID and logging in again can also trigger the message.
I didn't change the settings of iMessage or FaceTime, and this appeared after updating the ios, so could it be a bug or something after updating? And would I have to worry about someone breaking into my appleID, since no new ones appear in the list of devices apart from my own?
By the way the notification went away after simply deleting it but it would help me a lot if you answered this
Yes. You can also check the list of your devices in Settings/Your Name/AppleID, in case there have been some unknown devices added, just to make sure.
Did you upgrade or restore one of your devices before you received this message?
I did get the same message, but knowing that nobody else has access to them, I knew that all was ok.
So, can I not worry and rest assured that no one has accessed my appleid?
