Share my screen not supported on my iPad mini 4

As long as your iPad mini 4th generation has iOS 15.1 or higher installed, it does support the screen sharing feature in FaceTime. Those details can be found in the guide you recently viewed which says the feature requires an iPad with iPadOS 15.1 or higher. Tap Settings > General > About to see which software version you have installed. If an update is needed, you'll want to back up first. Both steps can be found here: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If you do not have at least iPadOS 15.1 installed and don't see an update available, double-check your iPad model using this guide: Identify your iPad model - Apple Support
