I have a smart mailbox in Apple Mail - New Mail (Today).
This worked without a problem until I updated to Ventura 13.2.1. Now it never gathers any mail.
This would seem to be real basic, but it's just not working. Yes, I've definitely have received mail today.
Any ideas?
Have you tried the 'Rebuild' feature for the mailbox your using? Also, have you rebooted into safe mode and tried it? Booting into safemode will run diagnostics and repair many issues.
If none of these things help you, I will defer to the others here that might have better suggestions.

Safe mode seems to have fixed it. It loaded up today's mail just fine.

Can you try to name the Smart Mailbox Name with no spaces and without the word 'Today' in it?
Just as a test. Example: NewMail
Then come back with results.
Nope, no luck.
New Mail (Yesterday) is working, but no luck on NewMail (Note no number next to it)
And... it's broken again.
