How do I turn off/deactivate the App Store? I have a teen child and I want to turn off the app store entirely. I'm running macOS Monterrey 12.6.2 on a Mid 2015 Macbook Pro. I am the admin user on the laptop and my son has his own user login. ScreenTime only allows for turning off app installs on iOS. I have tried to delete the AppStore app from the laptop (moving it from the Applications folder to the Trash) without success. We want to prevent the ability to download games specifically. In the absence of an ability to limit that category of app download we're fine with a wholesale block on downloading anything through the app store. Ideally we'd be able to just turn it off the way it works on iOS. Thanks!
