Apple Home App - HomeKit

I cannot add my Mac or MacBook Air to my Home app as accessories because it says my iPhone is not connected to my home WiFi, though it is.

I use Apple TV 4K as my home pod

Help?

You can’t add your MacBook as an accessory.

Or did you mean you want to use the Home App on a Mac to add other accessories? You can’t use your Mac to add accessories to Home; you must use the Home app on an iPhone, iPad

Ok - so you're telling me I can't add my MacBook Air or my desktop iMac as an accessory. So be it, if that's the case. I was tracking my Apple TV as Home Hub, and that I must use Home app on iPhone, just wasn't aware I couldn't add computers as accessories to my rooms in my Home. Thanks!
