Unlinking iPad and iPhone
How do I unlink my iPad from my iPhone so that when I download apps on the phone, the iPad does not automatically download the apps too?

On your iPad, open Settings ➡️ App Store ➡️ App Downloads (Under Automatic Downloads): Set this switch to OFF. Do the same on your iPhone.
