I changed from Spectrum to a new ISP. I am unable to remove their security suite. I have contacted Spectrum for help and they sent me to Apple.

I bought my first Mac in 1987. I wasn't aware Spectrum had put the Security Suite on the Mac until I changed to a new ISP. After the change, the F Secure Security Suite periodically put forth a big red box to renew my subscription...very irritating. The solution: go to the F Secure website and they have an uninstall program for the Mac. Unfortunately for me, I spent numerous hours to discover Spectrum has no idea this even exists. Anyway, the F Secure Security Suite is removed and no more problems.

You don't need anti-virus software on your Mac or anything else that claims to protect, clean-up/sweep, defend or guard etc for your Mac. Everything it needs is already built in.

Apart from the above sound advice I would stop using software from a company that has such a poorly written and presented support page on their website as well as directing you to Apple for supporting them for software that has nothing to do with Apple. One further tip would be to stop using any (if offered) software from any ISP that claims to protect your Mac.

As already stated above you don't need it. As ever your best defence is your own common sense.
