Router for time machine wireless backup?

Anyone know a good router that supports connecting a hard drive for Time Machine backups?

I just wasted hours installing and troubleshooting a Netgear router. Turns out they are no longer supporting Time Machine connected drives. May have some old legacy ones that might work, but why would I buy from them? I used to be able to set every Mac in my household to automatically back up while connected to Wi-Fi but the old Apple Time Capsule no longer supports this.

The forums don't have a general "Mac software" topic so I don't know if this is the best place to post.

Thanks.

Time Capsule was Discontinued 2018—that decision was a boon for other wireless router makers.

Most any router would support this see LAN port.

See if this is it: Share the internet connection on Mac with other network users

See third-party NAS products.

The alterntive is connect the backup drive directly to your Mac.
