Does a person still receive a sms text if blocked on iMessages

That's a possibility.. On the other hand, the recipient may

have shut-off their device. Or has temporarily used some

kind of 'do not disturb'. Powered-down, it could do this.

This sort of thing happens to me on random occasion.

A recipient may block you. Or might have just changed

settings in the device or Mac. An iMessage has turned

Green; and then a few days later, I still get a reply.

Larger messages might also see delays, where sketchy

cell service providers could have issues on their side.
