Keyboard swapped z and y keys

Fixed it by selecting English (US) us-international pc. Located in settings keyboard hardware keyboard. I think it is the new update never had this problem before. I have a zag rugged book on my IPad mini 5th generation since i baught it and this just happened for the first time.

Reporting an iPadOS Bug:

Do your Part: Apple needs to be made aware of this. So, mention about this pertaining to a bug in the Comments pane. Proceed with the following.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPad - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all occurred after installing an update, and how you have troubleshot it, thus far. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed form there as necessary

You might want to change that to US or ABC. US International PC is a special layout where typing punctuation marks like ' and " will often produce an accent over the next character.


Having z and y swapped indicates you had a German layout active. You might want to make sure you remove any German keyboard you have on the list in settings > general > keyboard > keyboards.
