Apple Music Catalog

One thing I keep seeing on the Forums that has yet to really give me an answer about what happened to my playlists that I’ve created in the past. While subscribed to apple music and its happened several times in the past, to where i go through financial hardship, am unable to renew, it cancels. And when I resubscribe, it takes a day or 2 for the 8k plus songs that I downloaded in the past since about 2016/2017. That seems to be everyone else’s problem as well to some degree to where they lose their Apple Music, then someone comments about itunes. I haven’t bought music in years, those songs that i did buy are still in my phone, im just curious about my playlists that i created, have sent to myself to be able to re-access them, just for the app to tell me what I’m requesting isnt available. Are there any steps to get my multiple playlists back or do i really need to suck it up and start over rebuilding my musical catalog?

Hey Edward Woulard,

When an Apple Music subscription ends, playlists and other content from that subscription would no longer be accessible and would be removed. This data is not stored with your account and would not return on signing up for a subscription again, so content would need to be re-added.
