How do I update the airpods firmware?

They keep disconnecting, the transparency is not working properly and sometimes they have like a static noise. My husband bought them online.

Firmware not updating on AirPods Pro 2 I have tried the recommended approach to updating firmware and I cannot get my AirPod Pro 2 to update. I’ve been trying about 10 days now since I bought them. Also, Transparency mode doesn’t work, or maybe it’s Noise Cancelling mode that’s not working; either way, all three modes are exactly the same. I also cannot register these with Apple, as it says purchase date not able to be added. I called Apple about this which was the only option available but still nothing. AirPods 3rd gen not updating firmware Left them on the charger over night and they are still stuck on the firmware they came with ( Firmware Version: 4B61) also was in range and connected to iPhone (fully updated) in the case with the lid open. Any way to force them to update?

How to update firmware on AirPods Max? Basically what the title says. I cannot get my AirPods Max to update to save my life. Current they are firmware: 5B59 I believe the most current is 5E133. How can I update my AirPods? I'm really hoping they fix the mono only sound I get when listening to some streams online and not others, but this is not affecting other sound outputs, just my Maxes.

The Airpods will update automatically when it is charging and your iPhone is nearby.
