Managing work life and Home across devices

I’m looking for guidance and tips about balancing work and personal AppleID’s and features.

personal use and personal Apple ID:

iPhone XR

Ipad pro

Apple Watch 5

airpods pro2

apple pencil

company use and work Apple ID (but not work managed):

mini Mac

iphone 12

issue….I’m basically on call 24/7 and need to remain reachable by text and email. I have my email synced already, but I have been reluctant to add my work Apple ID to my personal phone, or I am uncertain of how it will work. Is it possible to effectively use iMessage and FaceTime from my work Apple ID without interfering with my personal messages and information? I know I can forward the actual calls, but can I initiate an iMessage or FaceTime call from my personal phone with my work ID instead of my personal one?
