Legacy System Extension Notification

Hello,

Every time I do a software update on macOS, I get this notification.

It hasn't ever been an issue but I'd like to remove any remnant files or registry that are still lingering leading my Mac to believe it needs to continue alerting me of this.

What can I do to stop these notifications from continuing?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.6

Ideally, you should contact their respective developers (Native Instruments and Yamaha) and either update or correctly uninstall their products.

If you are not sure what you may have installed on your Mac to cause those notifications to appear, you can use the System Information app: System Information User Guide for Mac - Apple Support. Look under Software.

I understand you want to disable the nag but doing nothing is also an option. The next macOS version will not even load legacy system extensions, and the notifications will no longer appear.

Should the user what to attain the full path of this Legacy Extension and possibly remove it ?

Download the Application Etrecheck directly from the Developer.

This is a Diagnostic Tool that makes no changes to the computer.

It makes a coherent and readable inventory of both the Hardware and Software used on the computer

The application is free or paid from added features.
