Apple 13 Pro Battery Issue

Hi everyone, my iphone is less than 15 months old and the battery health dropped to 86%.

I believe if it drops less than 85% you have to get it replaced. So basically, $150 CAD more to just keep this thing running. I am not heavy user, but I believe the quality of the battery is **** and wanted to check for any possible recalls or anyone with the same issue ?

There is nothing wrong with your battery whatsoever.

Just the facts:

All rechargeable batteries are consumable components that become less effective as they chemically age.

Recent software updates can accelerate that process by adding features that consume more power.

As lithium-ion batteries chemically age, the amount of charge they can hold diminishes, resulting in shorter amounts of time before a device needs to be recharged.

Apple won’t replace the battery until it reaches 80% capacity.

It takes approximately 2 years to go from 100% to 80% capacity.
