sidecar not available in m2 macbook pro 13

i just bought a macbook pro m2 13 few days ago. couldnt find sidecar to pair with my ipad for secondary screen, can anyone help me?

running on ventura 13.2.1

thank you for the reply. but it doesn't work.

my M2 Macbook Pro 13inch doesnt even have the + button inside my display.

"Set up Sidecar

  1. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID on your Mac and iPad.
  2. Use one of the following connections:

3. On your Mac, do one of the following:

    • macOS Ventura: Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, click Displays , click , then select your iPad from the list below “Mirror or extend to.”
    • macOS 10.15 to 12.5: Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, click Displays , click Add Display, then select your iPad from the list below “Mirror or extend to.”"


We also want to be sure that you're using an iPad that supports Sidecar. To review the system requirements for Sidecar, you can reference this link: Use an iPad as a second display for a Mac - Apple Support

Sidecar works with these devices and operating systems.

PadOS 13 or later

Hello lhx92,


Chances are that your Mac isn't finding anything to extend to, so that plus sign does not appear. Were you able to verify that your iPad is compatible, updated and everything is set up correctly? Also, be sure to try both a wireless and wired connection.


If neither are working, we're also going to recommend that you restart both devices, reconnect them and try again.

Restart your iPad

Shut down or restart your Mac
