You cannot use the same sim in a cellphone and

an iPad. You need a data only sim for the iPad. Not

all wireless provider support such usage. Most

wireless provider do charge for using an iPad with

their sim. The number associated with an iPad sim

is for billing purposes only and does not permit your

iPad to be used as a cellphone.

What happens when you try to use Facebook and Insta (whatever

that is)?

If there is an error message, what is the exact

complete text of that error message?
