How do I remove my card and receive my refund?

If you can't remove a payment method

If you have subscriptions like iCloud+, have an unpaid balance, or you use purchase sharing, you must keep at least one payment method on file.

Remove a payment method on your iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Payment & Shipping.
  4. Tap Edit, tap the red Delete button, then tap Remove.

On iPhone, a message says Remove Payment Method. 

Remove a payment method on your Mac

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Click your name or the Sign In button.
  3. Click Account Settings.
  4. Next to Payment Information, click Manage Payments. (If you're using an older version of macOS, click Edit next to Payment Type.)
  5. Click Edit, then click Remove Payment Method.

The Remove Payment Method appears below the billing address. 

Remove a payment method on your Windows PC or Microsoft Surface

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. In the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account, then choose View My Account.
  3. Choose Manage Payments. (If you're using an older version of iTunes, tap or click the Edit button next to Payment Type.)
  4. Choose Edit.

The Edit button is next to the payment method in the list of payment methods.   

5. Choose Remove Payment Method.On a PC, find the Remove Payment Method button below the address in iTunes.

Remove a payment method online

  1. Go to appleid.apple.com.
  2. Tap or click Sign In, then sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. Tap or click Payment Methods.
  4. Tap or click Manage payment method.
  5. Enter a new, valid payment method, then tap or click Update."
