I just bought an IPhone 14 Pro Max. Siri keeps saying I have no new messages when I ask her to read them. I still have the notification numbers of new messages to read. I have even set siri to be used when phone is locked and even set messages to preview. Not sure what is going on. Need help resolving this issue.

Retrain Siri with your voice
Go to Settings > Siri & Search, turn off Listen for “Hey Siri,” then turn on Listen for “Hey Siri” again.

It worked for a little Now it’s not working again. I am hating the fact I tried to switch back to iPhone.
Just thought I would post this here for everyone else. Siri is very word specific. You need to say read me my new messages not my last message.
I just turned hey siri off and on again. Went through the set up. I just see the page on the right. When I ask Siri to read new messages. But I have a notification on messages with a number of new messages.
That seems to have done the trick. Hopefully I don’t have anymore problems with it.
