I have and iPhone 12 Pro Max, my Wife has an iPhone 12. We both have 7 series Apple Watches. My watch can be programmed to notify me if my iPhone is left behind but in my Wife’s watch and phone there is no such setting. What am I missing here ?

She might not have her "Find My" setup, activated, and/or on.
