I have upgraded an app on a trial basis. How may the upgrade be cancelled?

- If you signed up for a free or discounted trial subscription and you don't want to renew it, cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

In Germany, Israel, South Africa and Turkey, you have the right to cancel a subscription with immediate effect and receive a pro rata refund at any time. Contact Apple Support to cancel a subscription with immediate effect.
You can also use your iPhone, Mac or other device to cancel a subscription or use your device to cancel iCloud+. This will prevent any future charges to your account. When you choose this option, you can keep using the subscription until the next billing date.
