Backups in Icloud

I don't wish to save my media photos etc from WhatsApp in my Icloud .

How do i exclude them ?

Can you keep “hidden” or “imports” photos from backing up to iCloud? I’m coming up on my limit of iCloud storage, and one of the things taking up space is the “Imports” “Recently deleted” and “Hidden” albums. Is there a way to keep photos backup on, but just keep those and certain albums off of iCloud?

Hi, is there a way to exclude videos from being backed up on iCloud? I wish to separate videos and photos when using iCloud back up, but I don’t know how to. Is there a way not to back up videos?

Confused about backups I have no idea which apps and programs should be automatically backed up. I no longer have room in iCloud (50GB of 50GB used). On my phone settings, it shows that more than half of the storage is backups, with a much smaller amount for messages, etc. For which apps/programs can the auto backup be turned off? I guess I just don't understand backups. Is backup like saving? I realize that I want my photos to be auto backed up so that I don't lose any of them; the same goes for contact information. So I would want "photo library" auto backed up. What about FB, podcasts, browser, books, weather channel, etc? I don't know if those apps/programs needs to be auto backed up.

Settings > Your name > iCloud > iCloud Backup and here look for WhatsApp and disable it.
