Cover art still not working when playing music from iPhone through Bluetooth.

Is there a solution to the problem of bluetooth not displaying album art on my car? Based on multiple car forums, this has been an on going problem for most car brands for some time now and Apple has not fixed it! I have an iPhone 13 using iOS 16.3.1. Why does this continue to be unresolved???

Hello mbtbone,

We have a great support article that might help with this. Please take a look at it here: Change settings in CarPlay - Apple Support. Follow this guidance in the “Hide or show album art” section:

Open Settings in CarPlay using your vehicle’s built-in controls, then turn Show Album Art off or on.

We hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist with anything else at all. Take care.

The album artwork shows correctly on my iPhone in the music app. It does not show on my car (2022 Subaru Ascent) media electronics. This is not a new problem or unique to me or my car. This has been an ongoing issue for months now - see previous discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/253907147

I have not seen any solutions offered and have resigned to the belief that I will just have to accept that this will just not work. I don't understand why.
