Find my iPhone margin of error
What is the margin of error for the find my iPhone app? Can it be off by a few miles? Or is it limited to about 500 feet? This would be tracking an iPhone 6 using an iPhone 11.

We'll be happy to help you out. To answer your question, it varies. If it's a device with a built in GPS, the accuracy will be as accurate as any other GPS enabled device. If it's a device without GPS, the location is generally approximated based on other location technologies.
