Playback of video during Zoom call

I have a 2020 M1 MacBook Air, and teach online using Zoom. I sometimes use a YouTube video in the class, and recently there has been a strange problem whereby I play the video and it plays as normal for me, but not for the students- they hear the audio but the video just doesn't play. Any ideas?
